Innvo Labs has released PM 2, a comprehensive firmware update for Pleo's software. The next step up from Life OS 1.1, PM 2 (which stands for Personality Module 2.0) adds a series of new behaviors, tricks, sounds and actions to Pleo.

In essence, PM 2 creates a whole new Pleo. The popular robotic pet is "restarted" as a hatchling following the firmware update, allowing Pleo owners a second chance to enjoy their Pleo "growing up." With new surprises in store.

The PM 2 Firmware Update includes:

• 6 new tricks, including "Conversation" and "Wave."
• 12 new motions and 72 improved motion commands.
• New sounds.
• A longer, more involved Hatchling phase.
